Lol. Ages ago a former former room-mate of mine was doing something similar for Linux. He gave up on that and started on something he called “admind” or the “administrator daemon.”
It wasn’t all that bright, and frustrated with the lack of progress he went on to make a shell out of the quake 1 source code (he called it creatively enough, the Quake shell).
To delete a file you’d fire upon it, and to kill a daemon, well, you’d fire on that too. Going through a directory structure involved going up or down stairs.
Heh. I miss that guy.
