DragonFly now has a ‘rescue’ system added in, which also functions as a way to mount encrypted filesystems. Does PAM work yet? I don’t know; I may be linking to this earlier than I need to.

I’m not sure I understand the purpose of this or how you would use this.
DragonFly is moving to dynamic binaries for /bin and /sbin; it was not deemed acceptable to do it without adding a rescue system based on static binaries first.
