Francois Tigeot has updated the drm/i915 code again, matching Linux 3.10 for feature level… but it’s a big update. If you are
- Running DragonFly-master
- Using a i915 chipset
- (optional) On a chipset that is not Haswell or Ivy Bridge
… He could use your testing and feedback.
The commit to test being downloadable from here:

Is it in master already?
Vitaly – not yet, or at least I don’t recall it coming in as a commit.
Thanks, Justin! Damn, dragonflybsd is so beautiful and clear OS. Thanks for all of you.
I have a system76 laptop with a haswell GPU. I’ve never run dragonfly before (linux guy/freebsd newbie), but I would like to. Feel free to e-mail me — I might require a bit of hand-holding to get started, but I’m happy to help if I can.
