Interesting notes, the only issues I’ve had with the UEFI install is that sometimes the efivars aren’t set properly to reboot into the installed system, so I’ve used an Arch Linux live image to correct the efivars with the tool `efibootmgr`.
After which, there’s no more issues, though this seems to be a problem only on some motherboards, the Dell workstations I use at work have not had this issue.
