The commands rcp(1), rlogin(1), rlogind(1), rsh(1) and rshd(1) have been removed from DragonFly. There’s a net/bsdrcmds port if you still need them… though I imagine/hope ssh is filling the void for everyone.

This was a long time coming. Can we finally remove telnet(1) too?
Given that people are already doing perf benchmark due to Spectre/Meltdown. Would be great if someone updated the Dragonflybsd benchmarks.

You mean telnetd? Cause telnet is still useful when ssh isn’t available.
the rlogin commands should have been removed 20 years ago. Even before DragonflyBSD split from FreeBSD.
TelnetD is also not useful any more.
However telnet application is still useful to debug stuff.
