What’s the difference between “dports” and “DeltaPorts”?
I notice the commit from Francois above links to DeltaPorts inside of Dports.
https://github.com/DragonFlyBSD
And I also notice that on DBSD GitHub page both dports and deltaports are repositories.
https://github.com/DragonFlyBSD/DeltaPorts – read the README.
@justin
i’m confused. i thought dports was good enough to work on dbsd.
wasn’t that the case? did something change?
Nothing changed; it’s always been “pre-processed” this way. That way, any assumptions about FreeBSD-specific code can be adjusted.
