OpenSSL has yet another security update, and Sascha Wildner has added it to DragonFly. It probably justifies a 4.0.5 release, so I’ll be working on that.

Are there any plans to use LibreSSL in the future?
There’s been talk about it, but until LibreSSL is a drop-in replacement, it’s not easy. To my knowledge – and I’m not a LibreSSL developer, so I wouldn’t know – it’s not an exact replacement, yet.
PC-BSD is making the switch early, so we all might be able to take advantage of their efforts.
