DragonFly versions of TeX have been available for some time now. However, Nelson Beebe, who is part of the TeX project, is having trouble building some related binaries – asymptote and clisp. He could use help from anyone interested, to match up with this summer’s release of TeX 2016.

This post is 2 months old. The math/asymptote port has been available for nearly that entire time and I as I mentioned in a reply, clisp has already been on DragonFly. Using git to pull the old port clisp would be a good start. In effect, the mail was already answered but I think Beebe never wrote back.
Ah, my mistake. I thought this was published today (25 July). Somehow I got an old link and thought it was new.
