All the BSD activity for the week was absorbed by EuroBSDCon, I think.
- Remember, BSDNow has links to the raw video of EuroBSDCon. (Update: finished video now available.)
- BSD Pizza Night in Oregon. Unfortunately too late by the time I found it, but maybe there will be another?
- FreeBSD 10.4-RC2 Available.
- FreeBSD status report for 2017Q2.
- lscpu for OpenBSD/FreeBSD.
- The new TNF Board of Directors are installed and patched for 2017. (via)
- Do any of the BSD’s work to replace GPL’ed software on the grounds that the GPL is restrictive?
- FreeBSD 10.4-RC1 with Xfce4 help.
- OPNSense
17.7.317.7.4 released. - EuroBSDcon 2017 Presentations Available. The OpenBSD ones.
- FreeBSD: Building software from ports (1/2).
- EuroBSDCon 2017 Reflection.
Re: GPL in BSD.
Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t openbsd the only bad that has not GPL code in it.
Not having restrictive license does is even a core goal of OpenBSD

How Netflix is using FreeBSD to push 100Gbp of TLS traffic from a single node.
Side comment: I’d love to know if Dragony can accomplish this.
I dunno if anyone has the necessary equipment to even test it on DragonFly; 100G equipment is still pretty costly.

If you’re reading this, maybe you can comment if Dragonfly can do 100Gbps

You also might want to respond to this Reddit post below. A large CDN is evaluating Dragonfly for use in 54 countries.
Would be great for someone in the know to convince this person to use Dragonfly

Hi I’m the president of the non-profit organization, GConfs, who recorded all the talks from the EuroBSDcon 2017.
The raw full-day videos won’t be available anymore soon, please refer to this playlist we just created with the edited, reuploaded talks : https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLo31Bhg3nNkb6jJF8OjxK81-ssAk250oa
