  1. Off topic, but I’m just curious: are the google ads on the blog pay-per-view or pay-per-click? I’ve been reading via google reader lately and feeling bad that I might be depriving you of revenue.

  2. Read in the way that you like best – it’s more important that it gets read and discussed than whether any income is derived from it.

  3. I just stole your leaf.dragonflybsd.org/~justin/new-bsdusers/article.html
    look at
    wiki.dragonflybsd.org/index.cgi/QuickStartBSDUser
Does it need any changes for 1.8.1? I do not think so, but please check.

  4. M.K. – the NATA kernel modifications are there, but not yet turned on. Enabling NATA would get you the disk support you want, I think – there should be a section on the wiki that talks about enabling NATA until it reaches release status.

  5. Looking at CVSWeb ( dragonflybsd.org/cvsweb/src/libexec/rtld-elf/rtld.c ), we can see that the DragonFly_RELEASE_1_8 tag is for rev 1.26. Doesn’t that mean the rtld fixes (rev 1.27) aren’t currently included in 1.8.1?
